MANEGE Olympic Games. (2014)
The Museum and Exhibition Association “Manege” invites Francesco Pignatelli to take part in the international exhibition “A Season of Triumphs”dedicated to a remarkable event: XXII Olympic Winter Games, in Sochi.
The exhibition shows the philosophical perception of sport and its symbolic interpretation in contemporary art. Five zones by the number of five Olympic rings symbolize five energies of nature: Earth, Water, Wood, Fire and Metal (according to a conception by Carl Gustav Jung).
Francesco Pignatelli is one of the five international artists chosen to represent one of the five elements (Wood).
